​I’m in the midst of a five-treatment Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). Its cooler name is cyber knife. Whatever you call it, it involves high doses of radiation converging on a tumor buried in my Lumbar 2 vertebrae. Awesome.

​Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away
 
Not all that long ago, I believed that a workday packed with tasks and activities was normal productivity. Indeed, if there wasn’t additional work to be done at home – that night or the next morning – then I wasn’t pulling my weight.

The certainty of uncertainty

​Living with cancer brings its ups and downs. My last post was November 1. Since then, I’ve been preoccupied with work and health issues. I spent the week of Nov 14 in the hospital – two surgeries – to deal with a tumor on my spine. I’ll have radiation in the coming weeks to finish the job.
